Just upgraded to UBB 6.1.0.2, everything was fine...reupped the avatar hack, everything still fine...then, tried to add some custom graemlins, wouldn't work and now I can't login or admin the UBB...reupped the 6.1.0.2 scripts (followed directions to the T) ..didn't solve a thing and now I'm not sure how to fix the problem...keeps coming up "Sorry, we have no one registered with that name. Use your browser's back button to try again. ()" Any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. ---Em motleyland@motleyland.com

Use FTP to grab the vars_config.cgi file from your cgi-bin and make sure that the settings are correct.

oh I had this problem too. Can't login. Saying member doesn't exist but the member actually DOES exist. Go to u're Members directory
find a file called memberlist.cgi
make sure there are not characters that look like a square. If there are, delete the square. Also, check u're memberfile. That is, if u're member 00000001, check 00000001.cgi. Make sure all the info in it are not corrupted.
